Spirituality is based on prayer, which involves setting time aside to listen and talk to God about our lives. We all have our own way of talking to and being with God. Each person has his or her own unique way of communicating with him. Through the ages, these ways of talking to God and following his ways have developed into what is called "spirituality". You might have heard of some of these spiritual ways: Franciscan, Dominican, Benedictine, and Jesuit. However, perhaps the best ways taught to us were by the grown-ups who prayed over and with us before we even went to school. Our Spirituality centres on the Son of God, Jesus Christ. He leads us to Our Father and through Jesus, the Holy Spirit the bond of love links us into the Family of God and binds us to one another as brothers and sisters. Low Tax Payers may make a Gift Aid to the Parish from this April. If you are paying £150 a year tax and are giving each week to the Offertory Collection, then you may sign a Gift Aid Form. It costs you nothing, but for every £1, you give the Inland Revenue give 22p to the Parish. For further information contact Miss Wells or the Editor c/o the Presbytery. The Keep Fitters have donated £200 towards the upkeep of the Parish Hall. Holy Souls' School is still collecting these vouchers in order to buy Software for their Computers. Please place your coupons in the bag on the notice board at the back of the Church. We hope that not only have our sins been forgiven, but that our lives and the rest of creation will come to the fullness of life now that Jesus has risen from the dead. To believe this depends on signs reassuring us that it is happening. The signs that we are to look for are the spreading of light and joy, and that we growing closer to God, Our Father. Each time we come to the breaking of bread, the Mass, we renew our Faith. We believe that God through his Son, the Christ, is destroying evil by forgiveness and restoration. These gifts he gives us in the food of growth, the body, and blood of Jesus Christ.
